Apparently, he did not study Goldman that closely. Later in life (around the age of 50) she wrote in "Disillusionment With Russia":

"There is no greater fallacy than the belief that aims and purposes are one thing, while methods and tactics are another.... The means employed become, through individual habit and social practice, part and parcel of the final purpose...."

Even that whacko had managed to understand that gaining political power through violence MIGHT break the SYSTEM, but will CERTAINLY break YOU. You lose, even if you 'win'.
