Eventually, capitalism in some form will always win out. Nothing else works and certainly not over the long term. Besides, the Bible speaks of every man having his own vineyard etc. in the Millennium, IIRC. Doesn’t sound like Communism, to me.

Even the Biblical example of New Testament communalism didn’t last too long. Undoubtedly human nature ended up in control of such selfless altruism. But during the Millennium, such human evils would supposedly at least be minimized. Yet, it evidently pleases God to have every man/family have their own turf, manage their own economic affairs & trading etc.

“In some form” is the escape hatch. Communist China
today displays capitalism in some form.

Well put. But my comment was not opposing communism, it was warning of Nihilism - (generally speaking) The term is sometimes used in association with anomie to explain the general mood of despair at a perceived pointlessness of existence that one may develop upon realising there are no necessary norms, rules, or laws... for example, suicides appear to be more prevalent in socialist societies.

In my view, the whole thrust is to attempt to launch humanity in to the Great Tribulation.
