COVFEFE
Good example but I never “got” that one. What does it mean and how did it originate? I’m not even certain about how to pronounce it. It does seem to be a patriotic term however. Am I right about that?
.
It got hundreds of thousands of retweets, despite no one knowing what it meant. People who hated Trump thought he had gone off the deep end, while supporters thought he was just messing with the press.
I believe it originated with a tweet by Pres Trump. Instead of using the word “coverage” regarding bad press, he used the word “covfefe”. We’ve taken it as our own. It is pronounced koh-fe-fee or koh-fe-fay or kuh-fe-fey.. similar to coffee with an extra “fe” in there. Who knows, typo?
Petey (who hopes you play nice in the sandbox)
Late to the party talking about Covfefe, and what you all say is very true, but there is an acronym. (Yeah, I know it’s Wiki...) Patriots have used it to great advantage though. Good on them.
