After weeks of hyping the World Cup tournament the final match between the US and The Netherlands had a viewership that was down 43.8 percent from the last World Cup final in 2015.

This year's match averaged 14.27 million viewers on Fox, according to the network and Nielsen.
The 2015 final between the U.S. and Japan averaged 25.4 million viewers.
The going price for a woman like her in Juarez used to be $2.00.

Claiming that the women’s final had more viewers than the Men’s World Cup final is total B.S.
I’d bet there were over 50 million watching the Men’s World Cup Final when you include the Spanish speaking networks.
Everyone can rest assured that Rapino and the soccer team are going to pay a heavy Karmaic price for what they’ve done. Rapino, Morgan and Kreiger’s actions and words, and the fact that none of the others said a thing while allowing rapino to speak for them all after the WC was over, is going to destroy any chance they had for being successful in growing their league and making more money. And in the process they’ve also destroyed one of America’s National Team’s I don’t think that’s a good thing for America, what once was something that united America at least in a small way, has been burned down, and that hurts America, but it is what it is. This is a very sad day and the progressive, selfish scumbags that did this should be ashamed of themselves and I hope they pay a very high personal price for their betrayal of Team USA and our Country. While I will never not root for American National Teams, I am likely done watching the women’s soccer, at least until Coach Ellis, Rapino, Morgan and Kreiger are gone.

In general, the USA just is not a soccer country. We might watch a USA team, but not anyone else. On top of that, they are trying to compare it to the 2018 final, where there were no teams from North, South or Central America, to a 2019 final that included TEAM USA. The teams in the 2018 final, France and Croatia, have no following in the Americas, and were pretty much a worst case scenario for TV here. Even without USA, had GB, Brasil, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, etc been in the final, ratings would have been MUCH better. France v Croatia is like a World series between Tampa Bay and Miami, the 2 smallest fan base teams in MLB. The TV ratings outside their home markets would be dismal.

While Rapinoe is a rhymes with witch, other men’s tournaments had their finals on the same day. My guess is that many chose to watch men’s soccer, which is always more athletic than the high school game played by World Cup-level women.
I’m sure a lot of “viewers” just had it on as a cure for insomnia. Who wants to watch a bunch of ugly women who hate men kick a ball around a field for 3 hours? Their skill level at the sport is less than the JV team at any given high school. Maybe a bunch of trans women will join the team and replace all these whiny LGB snowflakes.
Women’s soccer is like “Fetch.” It’s not going to happen.

Four years ago, my wife and I took about eight kids to the parade - it was packed and we had a great time.
Looking at this year's parade on TV, it looked like the crowd side was down about 70%. I don't know anybody who bothered to go see that surly bunch.

A world cup final is about the only reason I ever watch women’s soccer, and Rapinoe and her like minded teammates were reason I did not watch it this time.
nonetheless, they are all complete jerks so let them lie in their own excrement for all that I care...
