I think the porn crowd did this several years ago.
It seems that I remember some people were upset about that version or so I read.

Fred will be black. Wilma will be hispanic. And Barney and Wilma will both be confused trannies. And I don’t even want to talk about Dino.
Wilma II = Betty. Okay?
There can be cartoons that appeal to kids yet have sophisticated humor like
Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Flintstones was obviously inspired by the Honeymooners.Gleason wanted to sue but was asked, “Do you want to be remembered as the guy who kicked the Flintstones off the air?” Some think that Barney was inspired by Ed Norton, despite being short and fat.
Barney Rubble = “Carney Double”
Is there a barrel deep enough Hollywood can't scrape its bottom?
Not making this up: in his bio My Life
in Toons, Joe Barbera said a spinoff
with a black stone age family was considered: The Blackstones
“...Wasnt the Flintstones just a kinder, gentler version of The Honeymooners?
Sure was, complete with “Honeymooner” voices. Everything has it’s time; the early 60’s was theirs. I doubt you could even get kids to watch more than two episodes of a new series before they got bored. You know it would have to be either full of sexual innuendo or politically correct to the max.
Sixty years is a long time. It was a more innocent time and I liked it so much better than the screwed-up mess we are living in today. BAH!!
Oh God! Please no Rosie O’Donnell as Betty Rubble.
DC Comics did this a couple of years ago. From a sampling of pages, I thought it was well done, and clever. It was re-imagined as a dramedy. Sometimes what seems to be unoriginal, can be truly creative.
Which one of the characters will be the homo/lesi this time around? And who will get a sex change?
It’s not about time.
“... a black stone age family was considered...”
How about a family in politics? It could be “The Blarneystones”.
How about "F Troop" renamed The 4-F Troop, where the F this time around stands for "Find 'em, Feel 'em, F*ck 'em, and Forget 'em."
Arms for the Love of America--Al Goodman & His Orchestra (1941)
A prehistoric Black-ish family.
Hilarious!
With this idiot Elizabeth Banks involved, this is going to be an SJW-fest. Shes the one boasting about how woke af her Charlies Angels reboot is.
the Honeymooners!
