But I believe it would be more of a guerrilla conflict. Picture Vietnam, not WW2.
The battles would not be conventional, the methods would not be conventional, and the targets would not be conventional.
The police and the military would only become targets if they chose to involve themselves. As for the police, think in terms of "How we burned in the camps..."
The military? Asymmetrical warfare.
I'm not advocating for that, of course. This is purely an intellectual exercise.
I agree with what youre saying, but I just think if things got to the point of shooting on a wide scale that the military, state national guard at least, would get involved.
