I won't accuse you of not reading the article since the disingenuous author didn't mention it, but she was called up again.
After she declined the other two games she was asked to work out with the national team prior to the Tournament of Nations. She accepted but was cut after a few days because the coach didn't think her skills fit with what the coach wanted.
The rainbow jersey wasn't an issue with that Tournament or the World Cup - according to the coach it was her soccer skills.
This is a manufactured issue designed to stir up outrage for clicks.
Except for maybe her blatant lie about there being no blacks on the team?
