Some Army friends were sightseeing in the Philippines on IIRC a tuk-tuk. A hot and dusty ride; developed a thirst and frequent stops to stay ‘hydrated’.
For dinner, the guide took them a local ‘truck stop’ with a communal bench.
Taking notice of some local specialty, they all went all in for it.
The beer was cold and the food tasty until...
They noticed small tufts of fur on the ‘frog legs’????
None of them died or anything.
Sauté frog legs are excellent! Haven’t had then lately but sautéed in butter, garlic and lemon are delicious!
