Leave the writing to Bob Zemeckis, Chris.
He made an excellent villain.
He’s around, just in bad shape.
"Marty, we're stuck here, in the Green New Future."
Maybe this time Doc Brown could get far enough up into the future to find some REAL climate change. Or go far enough into the past to learn that even with humanity not present, climate changes anyway, nothing to do with the presence or absence of coal-fueled power plants.
The presence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has NOTHING to do with either global warming or cooling, regardless of the concentration. Earth shall NEVER be at zero concentration of carbon dioxide.
Else all life on earth would cease to exist altogether.
I remember when movies were meant to entertain....I don’t go to the theater anymore
Nobody who matters really cares what a societal house pet wants.
Good ol’ Jim Ignatowski.
Doc Brown’s slip, fall, head-knock (source of the oscillation over thruster..... wait....flux capacitor) has finally caught up with him. Maybe the solar cycles in his personal timeline equate to climate change warming (valid but not man caused), but here/now, not so much.
Lloyd is REALLY long in the tooth.

Good ol’ Jim Ignatowski.
You mean like this one:

. . .from 1841 ???
Uh, technically, Mr. Fusion runs on carbon-based fuel...
I didnt know he was still alive. Wasnt he ancient back then?
Will they use a Prius instead of a DeLorean?
F him, only the first one has any interest for me - All of the following installments have been completely ignored by me and my family. We have no, as in zero interest in a new installment of this movie theme or any of it’s actors.
I saw a brief interview with the producer. He made it clear that that story is done. It’s a completed work.
Other people can make whatever “time travel message” movie they want, but it won’t be part of the “Back to the Future” franchise.
“.... universally, like climate change.” So we’ve expanded from glowbull warming to universal warming? We are AWESOME!
Christopher Lloyd also played “Uncle Fester” in the film versions of “The Addams Family”, back in the early 1990’s.
Creepy in that character, too.
