Had the child with Lowe’s Disease been genetically tested at birth it would have save the parents 2 years of worry and testing as well has given them a much earlier start on the dietary controls and treatments to prevent kidney damage.
Screening for rare genetic disorders is a good thing. The technology/science is now where near being to the scale of Gattica.
A test that shows what’s broke is easy. A test that has predictive medical usefulness may not be even possible because of epigenetics. Those computer models won’t work any better than current “climate change” models do because there are too many variables and unknowns to get anything other than gibberish.
