One more reason Never to go on a cruise.. why would I spend all that money to feel like I’m in Chucky Cheese on the ocean ugh ugh ugh
After my navy days, I would NEVER go on a cruise. BUT when I finally did, where else can you go for about $100/DAY to get pretty incredible meals, incredible scenery......
But you have to be smart. You have to get the right meal staff, you have to go to the EARLY shows, you have to get the right shore excursions...
I am giving tours as a volunteer this summer. A European woman was NOT watching her child and it was HANGING from a place too high for survival. We had to scold her to watch her child. It to me was unbelievable that a mother would be so irresponsible. That happened today to me in a state park out west.
It’s not like that at all, except maybe Disney or Carnival (immature adults partying).
I was only once on the biggest ship, the Oasis, and they had an entire area dedicated to children. You could sign up the children for “day care” and it is divided by ages, and all completely contained. Our 4yo loved it, although they DID allow special “field trips” outside on the trips. But you would not be seeing constant children chaos at all.
But yes, please, people, try to keep your children under control and be as safe as you can.
