"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified just like every other parent is of [my child] growing up in a country where gun culture is rampant and we have mass shootings every day.

Just yesterday I was walking down the street and there was a mass shooting. Then this morning on the way to breakfast, another! I'm sure there will be another one tomorrow.

The Handmaid's Tale is nothing but a feminist fever dream. Yet these actresses expect people to take it as reality. They really need to get a grip. It really makes me wonder if women like this should be allowed to vote.

That's not her only fear for the future: speaking to the theme of ELLE's August issue, climate change, Yvonne says, "I think we're at a critical point where if we don't make some hard decisions and if the people in power don't make a plan to move forward, we're in danger. We can do so much better."

Is she willing to give up jet travel between Australia and the US? Maybe travel by sailing ship?

Since the child passes from the woman’s uterus through the birth canal doesn’t she also have the “right” to terminate that baby at any age? Why does her “right” to kill that child end as it exits her body? That is the logical extension of this “reproductive rights” business.

Reproductive rights means, in a logical and sane world, that the woman has the right to choose between getting pregnant or not getting pregnant. No more, no less.
