Yeah, I think I'll got to Detroit in the heat of August for the privilege of listening to vulgar music with violent ferals and gibs-me-dats who hate me and are going to charge me more money because of the color of my skin.

I would guess the only caucasians going to a negro urban “music” thing would be ultra-liberals, and happy to pay extra to atone for their whiteness.........

Never thought I would see the day segregation in America is now applauded and you’re a racist if you don’t applaud segregation. Our country is heading for an immoral day of reckoning and it will be ugly.

A different view here.
If it’s ok for blacks to charge whites extra because they don’t like them and want to discourage their attendance, it should be ok for whites to use differential pricing to discourage blacks.
I hope someone takes this to court and gets the ok for racially discriminatory pricing, because what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
So far, it’s all been one way, like the college cookie sales where blacks got a discount. Let’s use this as precedent and reverse the pricing direction. It would get a mega reaction.

"I was immediately enraged just because I am biracial," Graham tells Metro Times. That will be $15.00.

Jillian Graham, aka Detroit-based rapper Tiny Jag, pulled out of a local music festival this week because she disagreed with its pay model, in which people of color would pay less for tickets than white festivalgoers.
Graham said she only found out about AfroFuture Fest's pay model when a white friend reached out to her and sent her a screenshot via Instagram that outlined the pay difference. The early bird POC ("people of color") ticket was $10 while the early bird "non-POC" ticket cost $20.
Well, okay, but I still don't understand the problem.

If they really want to be fair about it, they should have a sliding cost scale based on the darkness of the customer’s skin with the darkest on the scale getting in free. This would parallel the Real World in a vast majority of cultures where, regardless of race, the darkest skinned members sit at the bottom of the socio-economic scale. Cuba is a prime example. So is India.

"I was immediately enraged just because I am biracial," Graham tells Metro Times. "I have family members that would have, under those circumstances, been subjected to something that I would not ever want them to be in...ah, so it wasn't the principal that you would have been involved in something which was - yes - racist, because one race was being charged more than another - it was only because some of your relatives would have been disadvantaged by the scheme - well, it's a start I guess.....

The racist AfroFuture Fest’s pay model ignores just how effective comrade dictator obama was in spreading the poverty to all American cultures and communities.

My sister-in-law is a physician/surgeon. She has systematically removed "M.D." and "Dr." from all her shopping and financial related materials. Further, she won't disclose her profession, especially when purchasing large-ticket items, or where procuring domestic services are concerned. The reason? Doctors get shamelessly "soaked" in these transactions, vs us "normal" folks. The reason: Well, because they are rich and can afford to be fleeced.
That ain't right, you might say. No kidding, Sherlock. But it's a fact of life. Is poor-on-rich discrimination any worse than black-on-white discrimination? Open for discussion.

Remember: its not racial discrimination when we do it. 😁

Afrofuturism comes from Black nationalism and black separatism. They espouse a supremacist ideology of hate. Has been that way since the 1950s and never changed.
