Some of the political fault lines seem absurd.
For example, why do so many blacks vote Democrat? Is it because they believe Republicans are racist? Is it because they believe that only Democrats will deliver government services?
But then how does anyone explain the terrible living conditions among many blacks, in cities run by Democrats for generations? What positive things have Democrats have done for blacks? Why aren’t cities run by Democrats shining cities on a hill, if Democrat policies will make everyone’s lives better?
