I never understood why people would take the time to trash something they’re not personally interested in, knowing there’s plenty of people who are.
It is easy to trash when the players trash the United States on a world stage, playing up to the ugly American image the rest of the world holds for us. These hate filled women are filth. You say it's only two or three but all of the others didn't resign in protest of their ugly acts. The others didn't take these few out-back to the woodshed and teach them some decorum and integrity.
In the over forty years of my telecommunications career I never felt the need to brag to the world of my hetrosexuality. No one should ever need to brag about their non-hetrosexuality. In the military we were not even allowed to make "public displays of affection", or PDA. Sexuality on a national team should be a verboten topic.

It’s virtue signalling. They make a point of posting on threads about something they are not interested in to show how not interested they are.
I think the frequency of posting shows how not interested they are.
1 post, a little not interested.
2 posts, a bit more not interested
3 posts or a post filled with lots of insults, a whole lot not interested.
When you combine the fact that it is women, playing sport, some of them are lesbians, some have expressed political opinions that the poster disagrees with, well it has just left them feeling a little triggered.
