Feral dogs are serious problem in a lot of Florida. Probably other states for all I know
This is strictly my memory but it seems some years ago when I lived in Florida there was a piece saying that Hillsborough County had something on the order of the quarter million cats and dogs that were living in the wild.
What is a 45yoa man doing out and about in Florida with out being armed.
Both feral and pitbull-type dogs are an issue.
(Not much in the way of feral dogs up here in the Northeast, but people still get mauled and killed by pitbulls, etc., that get out or live with them or in a home they are visiting, etc.
