And I wonder what percentage of dog owners are "responsible" under those guidelines? In my experience, not a large number.
Yet my daughter owned 2 rescues (one passed away last year) and at the same fostered at least a dozen pits or pit mixes from the rescue organization she helped out.
Some of these fosters came for a weekend when she visited. I'll say this, by the time the dogs were adopted, she had them socialized. I enjoyed every visit she made with a foster.
