Found this on a Canadian blog. Looks like our friends to the North are waking up.
I’ve a friend in N.S. Glace Bay, lots more Unrest in Canada that press is reporting. The further left they move the faster the opposition is forming. He maybe dying, but he keeps up on what is going on. Their health care system really SUCKS.
You are right about the unrest. Seems to me Trudeau will be voted out next election. BTW, sincere sympathies for your dying friend in Nova Scotia.

Interminable waiting periods for certain types of care, people dying while still on waiting lists, doctors and nurses and patients showing their butts at the American border in order to get better jobs and more timely care. The only people that the current system truly benefits are the unionized staff workers who get far better compensation compared to their private sector counter parts.
The administration and delivery of health services used to be a provincial domain until the late 1960s when Lester Pearson, Tom Kent, and Pierre Elliot Trudeau (the main fathers of socialism in Canada) imposed a federal government system on all.

Sadly, a lot of them aren’t.
This past week the wife and I took a trip north to Canada to visit all my relatives. One of the stopovers was at the house of an old friend, now gay and living with his “partner”. Not 5 minutes in, the partner began berating me, President Trump and the USA as a whole - everything from kids in cages to father/daughter drowning(Trump’s fault) to eeevil Republicans. (”As I recall, you Republicans call Chinese people “Chinks”, correct?”) My friend, an Uber-liberal, tried to keep the peace, but succumbed and jumped in with additional attacks.
Needless to say, we didn’t make it to dinner - my wife feigned sickness and we left.
I feel for any Canadian Freepers who have to put up with this on a daily basis.
Sure... but when one is right and informed, that goes a long ways to making it easier. And some enjoy the battle.
I also have talked to Canadians and they are fed up and disgusted with Trudeau.
They want him out.
Our neighbor to the north is not to be written off yet. They do not like the system they have up there and are sick to death of the taxes and high cost of living.

Not 1 doc will touch him, what pain med he gets is forced tapered down just like we are. He’s Stage 3, most don’t get past Stage 2, he’s about to hit Stage 4. Suicide or a heart attack are both possible. I think the only thing that stops the suicide is his 16 yr old daughter and her not being able to handle it. We talk a lot about the grieve aspect of it, few understand it is equal to a Homicide Survivor’s grieve process life long, with ups and downs. I know it from the Homicide end, friends from the Suicide end and there isn’t much difference.
I haven’t lived in Canada for too long to comment on the current zeitgeist.
But it takes no stretch of the imagination to visualize what
you would run into in any American homosexual household,

It sounds like he needs to get his immune system response down. From foods, this could start with the following:
- Eat only low glycemic index foods
- Stop eating Omega-6 fats (soy, corn, etc)
- Eat a lot more Omega-3 fats
- Eat a lot more antioxidant foods
Things he probably can’t do well which could help:
- Exercise
- Sleep
I’m saddened for him and his loved ones. That sounds quite torturous.
Unlikely given the weakness of the Conservative Party’s leader. With a first past the post parliamentary system and no electoral college, Trudeau can get enough votes in the populous east to hold power, freezing out the entire west. The western secessionist movements are heating up again.
Hard to tell. I don’t know much about their system, although I’ve been told their actual vote gathering process is pretty bulletproof, closely monitored, two pieces of photo ID, paper ballots, etc., sort of makes you wonder why ours has to be so corruptible.
This sort of disinformation is the consequence of allowing New York Liberals (New York went for Obama at 79%)to control the news. Other people cannot be blamed for having been fed this crap. The New York and Los Angeles centric media services are creating these false narratives.
When it effects the digestive tract there is just certain foods you can eat. A diet of broth is not healthy and that is basically what Shannon can afford and consume.
