HumVees had a Central Tire Pressure System with
an external line to an air compressor mounted to the wheel hubs.
I didn't know that but I'm not surprised. What I was suggesting is all within the realm of current technical capabilities. Questions.... Was it a good system that didn't introduce new problems such as leakage? Did it have a smart system that would make adjustments based on the various predictive parameters that would dictate what the 'perfect tyre pressure' should be? And would it make those adjustments on the fly'?
