“Alleged” VIDEO?
It’s purely a legal thing, comes under the heading of “innocent until proven guilty.” Even if the perp is OBVIOUSLY guilty of the crime, the perp’s shyster lawyer can claim he was “smeared in the press” if the news outlet doesn’t use the term “allegedly” or something similar. Been that way forever, weird as it sounds.
