Wow. Interesting thread there. The Bubba visited NM in 2000. Flew directly over our house. Soon thereafter, there was the big fire that spread to Los Alamos. He flew over our house in the big AF1 jet and in a small plane that he used to fly from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and back again. He went to some women’s shelter or maybe a fundraiser for a women’s shelter. I can’t remember. I’ve always tied the fire to his visit.
