First the world will shake, rattle and roll, then roast, then freeze. Not like after Toba, but definitely arresting global warming. It might even solve the overpopulation problem. A lot of people might not survive the economic dislocation, a hit like that could cause, especially those living in cities. Would it cause an electromagnet pulse that would make our recent technology nonfunctional? No cell phones, no modern autos, no internet, etc.
