I have an FR-S that burns premium. It has 170k miles on it. Fortunately, Kroger is only $.30 more for premium so it’s where I fuel up. But this is the last car I will ever own that burns premium. Period. Exception: If I get a “show” car...

Dont know what an FR-S is. But, my 2015 Chevy Silverado 6.2 gasser requires premium. I bought my Silverado with a 6.2 for towing my camper which it does superbly. As you, I usually buy my gas at Kroger (use points accumulated from shopping), Costco, etc. But, regardless, higher cost of premium when on the road is worth the money as the truck serves my purposes.
