AUSTIN, Tex. For much of the last three months, the most popular Joseph R. Biden Jr. website has been a slick little piece of disinformation that is designed to look like the former vice presidents official campaign page, yet is most definitely not pro-Biden.
From top to bottom, the website, JoeBiden.info, breezily mocks the candidate in terms that would warm the heart of any Bernie Sanders supporter: There are GIFs of Mr. Biden touching women and girls, and blurbs about his less-than-liberal policy positions, including his opposition to court-ordered busing in the 1970s and his support for the Iraq war. Pull quotes highlight some of his more famous verbal gaffes, like his description of his future boss, Barack Obama, as articulate and bright and clean. The introductory text declares, Uncle Joe is back and ready to take a hands-on approach to Americas problems!
All the site says about its creator is buried in the fine print at the bottom of the page. The site, it says, is a political parody built and paid for BY AN American citizen FOR American citizens, and not the work of any campaign or political action committee.
There is indeed an American behind the website that much is unambiguously true. But he is very much a political player, and a Republican one at that. His name is Patrick Mauldin, and he makes videos and other digital content for Presidents Trumps re-election campaign.

This neat little trick and funny link on the internet is not even 1/100th of the advantage the left enjoys from the political tech tyranny of the big boys who have the largest influence over what we see on the internet.

I see a counterprotest of Pussy Hats sporting cut outs of Biden fondling them.
The Russians may be gearing up to again meddle in an American election. But if Mr. Mauldins work is any guide, Americans may well do a far better job deceiving one another than any Russian troll could hope for.— Matthew Rosenberg (@AllMattNYT) June 29, 2019

Stop whining about a funny parody site, Matt. CNN and NYT is the real deceiver.
Joe will be a Real Hands on President.
lefties will accuse trump of colluding with’ this site to sway the election, and demand an investigation lol

I think the NYT somehow missed this at the bottom of the page:
“This site is political commentary and parody of Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign website. This is not Joe Biden’s actual website.
It is intended for entertainment and political commentary only and is therefore protected under fair use.
It is not paid for by any candidate, committee, organization, or PAC. It is a project BY AN American citizen FOR American citizens. Self-Funded.”
In light of this obvious oversight on their part they should honestly refer to themselves as “Consultants for Anyone but Trump.”
Face it....only a Democrap would surf the site and consider it auhentic.....they’re so stupidly trusting.
A Republican knows in a nanosecond it’s a parody.
I stopped reading right there....
They don't even pretend to be objective any more.
The New York Times is a pathetic rag. No journalistic standards.
The simple fact that Joe Biden actually did and said all these things doesn’t stop them from calling it disinformation.
Yep, it’s simply “information”
I've known that about Crazy Uncle Joe for a long time.
Oh no! Before you know it, this guy is going to invent a phony dossier about Joe Biden and then haul it to the FISA Court so that the AG can appoint a Special Counsel to investigate Russian Collusion by the Biden Campaign. How low can these Trump supporters go?
