The rationale for forced busing in the 70s, was that black kids lived in the Poor Side of Town, therefore attended poorer neighborhood schools.
IOW, cities & towns had distinct black neighborhoods and white neighborhoods, usually separated by an overpass or railroad track.
Blacks could get arrested for walking in Whiteville.
That simply isn’t true anymore. Neighborhoods are no longer racially segregated. We have a plethora of regulations outlawing housing discrimination.
Black people can shop for better schools & commute to work, or do whatever they need to do for their kids, same as white people do. Nobody’s stopping them.
Whatever segregation exists is economic, not racial.
Anybody who can afford the note won’t be excluded based on race.
Even the elite enclaves of the super rich has rich blacks. This simply wasn’t so 50 years ago.
But homeownership in general has become so expensive, it’s out of reach for a lot of working class whites as well as blacks. This works to keep the “riff-raff” out.
And, fact is, neither the blacks nor whites who live there have a problem with keeping out the riff-raff. Low crime stats & good schools are why hardworking people want to live there!
Municipalities are now addressing this “economic exclusion” by forced rezoning, allowing subsidized rental units in formerly single-family, owner-occupied suburbs.
Neighborhoods — and their schools— are not RACIALLY segregated and do not need to be desegregated by forced busing.
Point being, the Dems are shifting more & more toward “income inequality” as a “problem’ they’ve anointed themselves to fix.
The race card keeps getting shuffled back into the deck to keep people focused on the false narrative: black people are all still oppressed slaves who never got their 40 acres & a mule.
White people are “the rich” who aren’t “paying their fair share.”
The Dems are just hell-bent & determined to re-enact the 60s & 70s. A lot of their young socialism-clamoring minions weren’t even born then.
They’re mad they missed the riots & they figure that, by insisting the the Klan was always & still is in charge, they’ll get a re-do of the 60s.
But if they try to inflict forced busing on Mulholland Drive or Marin County, they’re gonna stir up a White Riot for sure.
The lefty liberal donors in Santa Rosa will revolt & cut off all funding. The communists will go bankrupt.
Bernie needs to come to the Deep South.
Southern blacks will tell him he’s full of sh%t.

Well, inasmuch as white kids are the minority in city schools; it is time to bus them out of the city to safer schools.
This reality re whites no longer being a majority is being ignored in California at all levels of government and employment in California.
The democrats believe that your children belong to them to do as they please.
No!!! The minorities in the colleges are demanding that they are provided segregated dorms, “safe” spaces and segregated graduation ceremonies. The government, (even the college administrators), are not pushing segregation, it is the students of minority that want to keep the “white trash” away from them.
Our society has become too inclusive so the left must demand segregation so that later they can demonize the “right racist” for segregating them.
