A FAMILY OF SIX abandoned the ordinary in search of a SIMPLER LIFE - and look at where they are NOW! That said, this is a really dumb idea for people with no prior sailing experience. Things can go south in a hurry in the open ocean.
Yep, great channel too, with almost 1 million subscribers! But the Z-crew are my favorite - more laughs - and can relate more to them. :)
Keith and Renee are both pilots and their boat is equipped with the latest navcom equipment. They usually travel with other boats during transoceanic crossings.

I have a terrible time with the Aussie accent as I have hearing problems, so I gave up watching them.
I knew a guy that worked at a remote, overseas mining operation (huge operation). I think he was in the middle of doing a five-year stint there. He moved his family as close as possible and got to see them a few times a year.
But, at the end of it his plan was to buy a sailboat and sail around the world with his young family. Home school, etc. I hope he succeeded.
