Well Vipper, thats more or less what happened to me. Went legally blind in one eye and didnt fully realize it was happening at the time.
I have been calling myself, stupid, stupid, stupid all day. I can’t believe I didn’t notice. Now that I know, I close my left eye I can see nothing but a great big blur. I just can’t believe I never noticed it before he told me. Now I can’t stop opening and closing one of both eyes and it’s so visible I can not believe I missed it.
Well, don’t beat yourself up about it, after I noticed I had a problem, I waited over 3 months before I saw my eye Dr. And that surely didn’t help matters,
If you think you’re opening it and closing it a lot now, wait until after the operation:), I drove myself nuts trying to see if there was any improvement for the 6 weeks following the op. Now I don’t really bother anymore and just wait for my post- op follow up visits to see if there is anymore improvement.
Are either of you diabetic Iirc it’s the number one call of blindness
After Nikk started talking about her double vision decided it was time for a check up. MRI on pituitary tumor and untra sound on thyroid, plus a half dozen blood work on Tuesday.
Sight is so precious.
