Generally not. But then again, I generally don’t engage them either. My wife does all the shopping & other than 7-11, I try not to do to stores.

I’m relatively friendly with people at my kids’ games.

I generally find that people suck. They either talk to you in order to brag about how great their kids are or how good they are, or they want something from you.

Most times, I don’t really care what they have to say. “Have a nice day”. Do they really mean it or care if I do? Probably not.

Gosh Gub...you are a sad guy. You've got to rethink what living in California has done to you. Have you always lived in California? Do you ever stop and think how much a smile or a simple..have a nice day can have an affect on someone? In a school yearbook of my son's..in the back was a page for 6 graders to write what they will remember most. One boy wrote...the smile and good morning Ms...K..gave me on my walk to the gym. It really helped me through the day.

Someone once told me...share your smiles and not be selfish. I'm also an Alfred Hitchcock fan..lol
