Perhaps the slowing rotation of the earth.
Weather. It is absolutely, literally, seriously unprecedented.
Not one tropical storm, hurricane or cyclone globally for the entire month of May and this far into june. Atlantic, Pacific or Indian Ocean.

Then too, so far in 2019 hurricane activity has been below expectations - turns out a strong wind current blowing out of Africa this year is carrying large quantities of dust from the Sahara out into the Atlantic Ocean, deadening the atmosphere somewhat and leading to fewer potential strong storms - I’ll bet that’s another variable the Warmists didn’t program into their climate change models.......
It’s unprecedented. It’s historic. In fact, things have never been more like than are now than today.
Honestly, the “landed on the Moon “ theme is the only one I know of.
Don’t know why it’s stuck with me all these years.
Rumor has it both the Inca and Aztec people left due to drought?
Weve got His attention.
But does He have ours?
Author needs to try to stop hyperventilating.

I also live in Colorado and I agree, while we did have a pretty
good winter and spring it has happened many times before and I don’t
know about today’s farmers but the farmers back in the fifties would
shout haleluya when they got enough moisture to raise a good crop.
But it’s like you said these phoney what ever they are will go to the
wettest or dryest spot they can find to try to prove their lies.
Yeah, same as the previous 69 years of my life.
Here is an example from MIT:

Thanks fieldmarshaldj. Another smokin' load of crap.
The birds are eating them. I live right by the water and inland there’s swamp area but a zillion birds who hang out there so I assume they are there eating all the mosquitoes. On the other hand we are infested with ticks. My mother got lyme disease from them a few years back which was hell and not to get too personal but last year I had found one on my genitals which was also hell. I hate those bastards.
More rain somewhere almost always means less rain somewhere else, and always has been that way.
Since when did particular droughts, occasional higher or lower precipitation become “bizarre”.
Over long time spans, none of the current events are “abnormal”. They come, and they go, and always have.
