So, she’ll use the flag for a photo shoot (and whatever financial gain she thinks will come of it) but won’t stand for the National Anthem?
Actually, Rapinoe is not only a member of the team, but one of the captains. So she DOES represent the team. The coach not only didn’t punish her for going against team regulations when she knelt, she gave her the captain’s arm band. I say good for her. Just don’t count on me to support the team. I don’t wish them badly. I don’t wish them anything. I just don’t care.
They will come home and bitch about not getting paid enough. And people will think that the US soccer Association is a government agency. They will think Trump approves their salary.
Their salary is tied to the revenue they generate.
Trump could probably speed up their application for food stamps.
Keep in mind that a decent Boys High School soccer team would destroy the USWNT.
A team like Liverpool would beat them 50 to ZERO.
They are very tough on other women and run their mouths against their country and their political enemies.
I hope they lose.
One of the Monty Python guys put down the US for having "world championships" and "world's series" without inviting teams from other countries.
But it looks like other countries have "national teams" without specifying what sport it is they're playing.

Precisely why women’s sports does not compensate the athletes as much as the men’s...The revenue generated is just not there to allow similar levels of compensation...
It’s based on the draw, and despite SJWs wishing it were so, women’s sports are not nearly the draw as are men’s...
The one exception I know is maybe women’s tennis where compensation in the form of purses and endorsements can comparably approach men’s...
Meant to add...I am not a soccer fan at all...But was interested in US Women’s Team doing well until Rapinoe pulled her kneeling stunt and unleashed her potty mouth...
All interest I did have died immediately...Sorry for the rest of the team who may/may not share her views, and she’s welcome to them...But they lost a lot of fans, and now I’d be happy to see Team France kick some loud-mouthed booty...
