A MAN resembling a "mummy" has been found alive in a bear's den a month after the beast attacked him and dragged him to its lair for a future meal.
A group of Russian hunters found Alexander after their dogs barked and refused to move on from a bear's den they passed in the forest, it's reported.
When the hunters checked inside the lair the saw what they believed to be a "human mummy" - until they realised he was alive.

Don’t you just hate it when someone raids your meat locker?
Love the mandatory ‘Brown bears mostly avoid humans, bc they are afraid of them. This is so unusual.” from the professor in the UK. mmmm
Some days you gits the bear
Some days the bear gits you
Most days you just gits bear hair all over you
[[If you go down in the woods today You’re sure of a big surprise If you go down in the woods today You’d better go in disguise! ]]
I did go in disguise- I dressed up as a piece of liver- it didn’t work-
Good thing the bear forgot about him until he became like beef jerky.
Except HE was the centerpiece
at the teddy bear’s picnic.
The man must have intruded into bears territory.
I do not think they have bears in the UK.
So much for his opinion.
The pictures are disturbing but the story is short on facts — especially when and where.
South Siberia.
Victims of human activity (hunting) and climate change.

I hate when that happens.
that’s what a 50 cal desert eagle is for
I must be part brown bear.
“HE was the centerpiece”
Centerpiece or the entree? (Main meat dish.)
I hope this story does not turn into a ‘Nothingburger’.
UPDATE:
The story on the bear man was reported by major Russian newspaper Izvestia and news agency EADaily.
But a spokesman at the health ministry in Tyva Republic said: ‘We cannot confirm the case happened in Tuva.
‘It was not registered by the Ministry of Health, the Emergencies Ministry or any other official body (in the region).
‘Most probably, it happened somewhere outside Tuva.’
Speech on the background in the video appears not to be local language Tuvan.
Thanks for replying to my post, FRiend Grunt.
A tough old managing editor I worked under as a young reporter always used to say:
“If a story sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
Still, that picture ...
