Here’s the way I look at it. This person had an opportunity to represent the gay community with some class and dignity on the world stage. She could have proudly stood with her hand over her heart, and recited the words. Then she could have said at a presser, how proud she was to represent this country and the freedoms she has been given. Because after all, she is allowed to marry same sex, she is allowed to speak out at the right times and she is using taxpayers money to PLAY SOCCER, SHE FAILED.
The truth is........most of these people are not yet capable of getting beyond their sexuality and the truth is Donald Trump has done nothing to prevent them from living their lifestyles. But, as usual, someone always has to be the cause of their cause.

I agree that Ms. Rapinoe wasted her opportunity...
