It is safer than a cab and as a driver told me, much safer for the driver than driving a cab because Uber drivers ‘know’ their passenger. Tip: When the car arrives, before you get in the car, ask the driver his name. Only you and Uber know who you are expecting. Wrong name or no reply, tell him to move on.
