Yes, a good chance that could happen. I thought perhaps the royals would be happy to see Markle leave, but the publicity she & Archie would get in the U.S. would be far worse than if they kept her & the baby under control in the UK. I don’t think the Windsors yet have the broad mindedness about mixed race marriage that does most of today’s Western society. I’m surprised the queen consented to the union, given Markle’s ethnicity, status as a divorcé, and being older than Harry and near the end of her child bearing years. That Kate is fecund and is producing a series of potential heirs to the throne may have influenced the queen’s thinking, plus at her age, she’s likely getting tired of it all.
