Impeachment means the House does have the votes.

That’s probably the case, because at the end of the day, all the RATs are going to get is some time-wasting hearings on the matter. And I am fine with that. Next year their challengers in the election will have a field day asking them “just exactly what did you accomplish over the past two years?”
But even in the unlikely event that by some miracle Articles are voted out of Committee, they have to have 218 yes votes on the House floor in order to impeach the President. They have around 50 or 60 at best. Pelosi doesn't dare hold a floor vote with that few yes votes. The loss would be so miserably embarrassing that it might just cost her the Speakership.
