This week's big leak about a major Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation was orchestrated by acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan in an effort to sabotage the raids before they were scheduled to take place, according to three current and two former senior administration officials. In a move he said was to placate Democrats, President Trump announced on Saturday that the nationwide immigration enforcement operation planned to start Sunday — aimed at migrant families who illegally remain in the country despite being denied asylum — was called off to give lawmakers two weeks to work on a plan to fix legal “loopholes” he said have enticed migrants to come to the U.S. However, all five officials who spoke with the Washington Examiner confirmed McAleenan's decision to go rogue and stymie the operation was what prompted the White House to call off the 10-city operation.

The structural changes Homas is seeking is the removal of McAleena from DHS.
It’s unlikely the Democrats can implement Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement in 2 weeks. The list goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population)
7) demonstrate English proficiency to acquire citizenship and pass civics test.
Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport.
Also consider reciprocation of the laws of the countries of origin of the illegal aliens. For example, Mexico doesn’t allow land ownership or voting to immigrants, and doesn’t honor birthright citizenship like its citizens expect from the U.S. We should offer the same deal to them.
That’s how you do it. This man’s head on a pike right outside DHS headquarters would send a message.
If it were up to me this man would be summarily executed.

These days I always try to fight off my initial instinctive reaction to new articles like this. I have been reading about this guy BUT I will reserve judgement because it is the “news” media who delights in sowing seeds of conflict in the administration whether true or not.

The way it was leaked makes me believe it was done purposely, probably with POTUS approval. Can you say psychological warfare? What does he have to lose? Two weeks while he backs the dems into the corner? Time will tell.
