I’m convinced by the people who post HERE, long time FReepers, who almost without exception* have had positive results by going low-carb, often very, very positive. So, point me to people HERE who have loaded up with starches (of any kind) and had similar results, I’d like to hear from them. So far no one has made that claim that I’m aware of.
*the one exception was a guy who didn’t get any better, no worse, but no better. He said he would check to see if something else was wrong with him.
Lol. Here?? I have to cite examples of people who post of FR to convince you?. On this thread I have cited books by actual medical doctors, by you want FReeper testimonials ?? I wouldnt trust posters to FR with health advice anymore than I would trust them for entertainment advice. Lol!! But OK. Here is one. Myself. I have been doing a low fat, whole food, plant-based diet , high in starch and whole carbs for a decade and it is literally the best thing Ive ever done for myself no exaggeration literally the best thing. It gives me plenty of energy to lift weights and build lots of muscle. Keeps the body fat low. And prevents heart disease. Keeps the cholesterol low with no meds. Ill let you know if I ever have to take a med. Hasnt happened yet. Dont want it to ever happen in the future.
