A photo recently snapped by NASAs Curiosity rover, which roams the vast wind-swept expanses of Mars, has captured the sight of a peculiar phenomenon which looks like a flash of white light of unclear origin.
The raw image, in black-and-white, was taken by the rovers right navcam on 16 June

Okay. Obviously the spheres are not exactly spaceships. They appear to be retractable force fields ?

My guess is a great war was fought here once. Asteroid belt was probably their defensive planet. Got blown up good.

Thanks fieldmarshaldj. If the rover uses infrared detectors and spots white heat, then clearly there's some underground velvet on Mars.
Impact from space.

Vorlons. They were from Babylon 5 ? Possibly something like that. The first Stargate/Jumpgate race could have their way with the place.

All it takes imaging element misfire, turn off, response start to decay, etc. I’ve seen sensitive earth located images have a dead pixel due to a cosmic ray.

So you’re saying the Martians are attacking our rovers with cosmic rays?

Correct, a point I did not dispute in my post. My point was that the possible artifacts are not random. If they were random we would see bright spots on things like the rover itself which is often in the foreground. The bright spots are in locations where it's possible for something physical to exist.
