Joe Biden's two days of off-message musings about his long-ago work with some of the most notorious segregationists of their era has staffers calling for an intervention to save his 2020 presidential campaign.

Biden's light schedule, off-the-cuff ramblings, lateness to important events, and seeming inability to heed the advice of his aides create an impression of a directionless campaign.

Oh please. The democrat party establishment that picked Hillary in 2016 has picked Biden. The debates and primaries are a show pony to serve as as a “we agree with us” campaign commercial.

“intervention”. That’s what McCain called the murder of JFK.

He’s a mental case. Going to cure cancer? No, I think the powers-that-be have already decided to drop him like a hot potato, and now they’re calling Elizabeth Warren an “intellectual powerhouse.” I don’t agree, but she’s the only one that doesn’t need to be in jail or a mental institution. (By the width of a hair.)

Despite these efforts, Biden recently turned up an hour late for a 9 a.m. diner visit in Manchester, N.H., escorted by Lou D’Allesandro, a state senator and local Democratic kingmaker. The former vice president was busy finishing up watching that day’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, according to a staffer on his campaign.

“Ultimately the candidate is making the decisions. You got all these advisers, but Biden is the one who is calling the shots on strategy,” Democratic strategist Jeff Hewitt,

Biden is calling all the shots.

That’s why he needs to take time out to watch Morning Joe.

To make sure he makes the right calls.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

When Obama picked him for VP I and many others were gobsmacked that he could make such an insanely stupid choice.

I'm still trying to understand why Hillary picked Kaine. How could he possibly have improved her chances of being elected?

The Kaine pick was all about Virginia. Believe it or not, Kaine is popular in his home state. In fact, I don’t believe he has ever lost an election in Virginia.

But, even with Kaine on the ticket, Trump still came within 5.4 of taking the state.

In 2020, Trump just might win Virginia.

If he does(and gets Florida), Trump won’t need Michigan, Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania... but it still would be nice to get them.

Never understood why Kaine was popular in VA. I remember him as pretty much a “do nothing”.

Though it has been said that the Va governorship is a weak governorship by state constitutional design therefore by definition a “do nothing” position.

We should remember our outrage when anonymous sources claimed such chaos in the Trump Campaign four years ago.

Anonymous, these days, is often longhand for “lying”.

Are they sure it was "Morning Joe"?

Aide: "Sir! We need to leave for the 9am diner visit!"
Biden watching TV: "In a minute, pal! 'My Little Pony' just started!" [laughing] "Oh, I just LOVE that Pinkie Pie!"
