Who am I to say where a woman keeps her watch collection.

Q: What’s the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping Tom?
A: A pickpocket snatches watches.

1. Note to self: never buy a watch of dubious provenance.
2. The story doesn’t say the “businessman” is a watch dealer. If I owned a Rolex collection, I wouldn’t keep the receipts. The police must think something is hinky, because I don’t think ironclad proof of ownership is required for return of stolen property. Or, the cops just want to rip him off.

I have a Lady Rolex. They are waterproof to something like 90 feet deep. They call it “the perpetual oyster” construction LMAO (really!)
My watch cost me $10,000 in 1986 and it’s still beautiful and keeps very accurate time.0
