At some point (beyond 2030), most Californians will be used to twenty hours per month being normal for total black-outs (over the whole month). Everyone will have portable generators in the garage and burn at least 20 gallons of gas to support their marginalized electricity. But they won’t be able to find anyone to blame for this third-world service.

They should borrow the odd/even policy of the Carter days if you have an odd zip code you get power on odd dates.
