The two levers the guy kept moving back and forth ... too funny. There never was a reason for it. Just move a lever forward, the other back, and then do it all over again. I guess they thought the lever thing was the coolest part of the movie. The popcorn meteors did it for me, though.
The really sad part? I think I saw it in the theater...
