I liked it much better when I had no idea about the personal lives or politics of people I saw on screen.

Yep, You would think entertainers would keep that stuff to themselves rather than alienate so many in their audience.

I am guessing there is an ideological purity test right after the casting couch test for any new actor or actress. If they aren’t wearing their SJW-ness on their sleeve they won’t get a role.

George Takei has no audience and never will. He's never been a 'star' in anything that I know of.
