I haven’t heard that name in a few years.
He killed at least one girl, and worried his father literally to death.
Isn’t Joran still locked up in a Brazilian prison?

“Isnt Joran still locked up in a Brazilian prison?”
Saw a special on him last week. Still in prison — in Peru, I think.

Im beginning to think the best vacation is to simply stay home and eat ice cream on my back porch. You should splurge and put it in a bowl.

If the DR’s tourist industry starts to dry up completely, that might help to concentrate the minds of the officials who need to get to the bottom of these deaths/sicknesses in a serious and truthful manner.

First question, Cui Bono?
Some other island maybe trying to drive business their way?

Sometimes the story gets changed:

I have not heard anything about dead locals in these stories. If there are no dead locals, then it implies someone is intentionally poisoning Americans.

likely died from the shock of seeing her partner dead.
“OK, officer. Thanks. Oh, by the way, one more question. What killed her fiancee?”
“The thought of marrying that woman.”
“Thanks for your time. Say, could I get a drink?”

Damage control mode. I’m very reassured.

Yes, because I have ZERO faith that anything we have been hearing so far is remotely close to the truth.
Seems like lots of “heart attacks” and stuff among healthy, young-ish people.
Many cancellations might get their attention to figure out what is really going on, and put a stop to it.

I’m beginning to think my wife is trying to kill me. She is adamant about going to DR for her 50th birthday even though I keep showing her these stories.

Uh, if anything, I would expect her man died from shock, as she is some 13 years younger than he.
Anyway, denial aint just a river in Egypt.
Apparently its also in DR.
Something weird going on. Any deaths like this for other nationalities? Recently? Also there are other sickness cases and crime cases stacking up from just this year.
Is it just media hype?

Ministry of Public Health spokesman Carlos Suero insisted that the Caribbean country shouldnt be blamed for the series of tourist deaths on the island Of course not - every other Caribbean island has a similar death count, right?
