Bolton IS NOT in the chain of command and is thus not able to send warships ANYWHERE. He is merely an advisor.
I was wondering about the measure of Bolton’s influence, but do realize he is entirely non-military, and in a foreign policy advisory role. Thanks very much for the clarification on what I posted.
