Yep, probably over sensitive.
Take me, for instance. I fly in and out, and drop and read and then fly out again. Sometimes I’just fly by posts.
I DO read every post. Some people just jump in anywhere, so they miss stuff. Some people are digging, some aren’t interested, and others are.
But you’re also a part of the fabric of this thread; every poster and every post is gold. So shine on.
We see you, ya know. :)
when I post on the thread, my posts get little or no notice, and... A few dozen posts later, another states my exact sentiment and they receive accolades.

I’m sometimes too busy to as much spend time on the thread as I want (real life intrudes). I find something I want to share, return to the thread behind, and don’t have time to read everything I missed before posting. So I can drop the link or article I found into the mists of time, never to be found again, or I can post and run.
Sadly, sometimes I post and run. That means if it’s already been posted, I have duplicated someone else’s (more) thoughtful effort. Readers in my situation arrive on the thread behind, calculate that catching up will have to wait until the weekend (or never) and read around the vicinity to see what’s going on ‘lately’. They may see my more recent post and comment.
You are noticing that we try to focus on the thread but get drawn away by family/professional/health demands and then fall back to “just doin’ the best we can.”
I’m sorry that it can seem like you’re invisible, but it’s just the demands of schedules and sometimes human error, that create that false impression.
I know without asking that you’d never intentionally ignore one person’s post and praise the same content if posted by another. On those days when it seemslike your contribution(s) are overlooked, perhaps recalling that you would never intentionally do that to others will help bring to mind the hectic schedules and demands of real life that sometimes cause us to fall behind and “dive in” wherever we can.
I am grateful for your posts. Many people read posts and never comment on them (lurkers). Many read posts with interest and comment on other topics or threads. We’re out here, interested in what you share - we don’t always keep up or thank you. So let me step in here and say, on behalf of our FReepers and FReeQs, THANKQ for taking the time to share your knowledge, observations and “finds” with us. ThankQ for building threads with us. :D

Yeah this is a big yow! Saudi’s working with Israeli after decades of hostilities. What does Dedan (Saudi) say to the confederacy of nations (Russia, Iran, Libya, Sudan), that invade Israel in the latter years. “Art thou come to take a spoil?”

Sometimes it’s better if my posts get no comments because that means I don’t have to go back and elaborate on what I’m talking about especially if I just want to cut it loose and run. Most people probably read every post, and that’s what keeps drawing me back everyday. I don’t want to miss anything; history is being made daily. For goodness sake the world is about to change! Everybody’s opinion and info is very interesting and is not to be discounted. Even if no one seems to notice. The various user handles I encounter feel like close friends. I pop in and out and some topics are hands off and not my thing, but no less important.
Your on fire tonight! The details of the coup against a duly elected president of the United States are coming into sharp focus. There has to be justice or we are just another banana republic.
We're all doing this for answers to grave questions.

Then there's this about Iran: Iran announces arrest of 16 oil ministry officials for spying for CIA.
While the world focuses on "negotiations" between the U.S. and Iran, real actions are taking place behind the scenes. North Korea's CIA overlords had to be eliminated before Rocketman could be in a position to negotiate. Now we're seeing the same process play out with Iran.
