My son goes through chargers all the time...at least he use to. I'm a prime member on Amazon so I buy several items for him and chargers are one. I have a 10 foot cord here for him to pick up. Before I hand it over I take either nail polish or white out and mark it on the side where it goes into the Tab/etc. and that stops him from trying to put it in the wrong side and eventually messing up the tip that goes in. It has really saved him money.
