Being called a “leftist troll” made me laugh.
We’re entering a really dark time in tech - maybe it’s because I’ve been immersed in to for so long that I see what is possible - and what is happening right now.
TBH I’m surprised at how naive some are. Data is the new oil. The amount of data analytics being applied on this (bought & sold) data is staggering. Combined with AI I don’t believe the masses have any idea of the capabilities and influence these companies exert.
For a forum where I don’t see anyone disagreeing that there’s been a coup attempt against this POTUS, it’s a bit of a surprise to hear that the same people believe it’s a giant leap that the deep-state and FB are working together - and that this wasn’t planned way back, right at the time everything was changing due to the Patriot Act, including NSA/CIA programs.
It may or may not be true but I don’t think for a second it’s a huge leap as some are claiming.
Because you’re stupidly confusing collusion and racketeering between major internet players with CIA ops and patting yourself on the back for your ingenuity.
