Zuckerberg really isn’t any kind of genius. He stole the idea of a friend based blog like live journal and crossed it with a fad that was out at the time (can’t remember most of the names, but some were rate my face, and rate your mate) of posting pictures of selves, classmates, friends, and exes. It caught fire and also caught some flack so he modified it to be more about social posting and gossip and less about posting people’s pics. It wasn’t rocket science and it wasn’t planted by mind control. Good grief
You completely miss the point. First, there’s ten different stories about how it become a product. The rocket science was making a system that could scale to billions - this isn’t trivial. I never said “it was planted by mind control”.
It’s dawning on me that many FReepers are completely unaware of the level of influence that FB, Twitter, etc. have on billions of people - it is where they get their “information”. The censorship that is going on is directly intended on influencing elections.
