NOTHING happens in SV without clear thought and lots of $$$ to back it up.
This was part of an highly organized plan which was going to use FB as an integral part of what was called “Net Neutrality”
With SV companies, there is always upside and downside but there is ALWAYS a detailed plan.
Agree - I work for SV. I’m often impressed by how detailed their strategies are. Good luck passing off a half-baked idea and getting any significant funding.
